"While I certainly enjoy all lilies, my top choice remains the Easter Lily. It's pure white blossom, strong stems, and dust
of gold pollen make it a classic. the deep, trumpet shape of the blossom is also very elegant.
I associate this beautiful bloom with Easter
one of my favorite holidays. It's a plus that the bulbs grow readily when planted after the holiday is long over.
I am also very grateful
that since my Dad died shortly after Easter we were able to have the spray on his casket done in Easter lilies along with yellow roses.
There is no compensating for the loss of my Dad, but the flowers began a healing process that is richly
symbolized by the Easter Lily."

Casablanca Lily, a favorite for weddings...
My favorite lily is the
Casablanca lily. The reason why this lily is my favorite besides its appearance is the aroma that it gives off.
Just a few in a vase and the vibrant smell encompasses the room it is in. I would recommend it to others
because it is a beautiful looking flower.
It looks great on its own or with an assortment of other flowers.
I plan weddings, so this lily looks great in centerpieces. It has a large head so it takes up a lot of space, which
can make it very cost effective. They look beautiful when mixed with orchids."
